How deep can you go?

🤿Diving deep within yourself is an essential part of a self-growth journey. I will be honest, things hidden there are not always pretty. Your initial reaction might be to push those out and look the other way and go on with your life… it’s not that bad after all, right? 🤷🏻‍♀️

🚫But don’t… uncovering those hidden subconscious memories is exactly what you need to do to get the lost pieces of your true self back. Those experiences might have shaped you, but they 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂!

🗣From the day we are born people around us tell us what we are and what we are not, what we can and cannot do. It is critical to understand that those encouragements, fears and limitations belong to the people who spoke them based on 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 and (unrealized) expectations. They have nothing to do with us!

🧗‍♂️So we grow up and become the people society expected us to be (or not…some of us might decide to rebel). But then, there comes a point in our lives, when we find ourselves questioning our happiness, our potential, or place in this world. Some of us will search for answers 🧜, while most just get busy with doing and buying more stuff to fill that void 🩹.

🚨Learning about your true self is not an easy task, but a very rewarding one. Every time I think I got to the bottom of something, I learn that there is yet another layer. And I keep peeling my past like an onion, sometimes with tears from heaviness of yet a new discovery but often from relief of a heavy burden I carried on me for decades.

🙏🏼Thankfully we live in times when talking about mental health is not only ok, it’s encouraged! And there are so many resources out there to help. DM me if you have any questions on how to start on your journey to meet 𝗬𝗢𝗨. #𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓓𝓸
